The unintentional diet

Now, I'm trying to make better decisions with eating and exercising, toe not withstanding. I really want to meet my goal of losing 20 lbs. this year.

I think I'm cheating, though.

The stomach virus gained me a hole in my belt. My current face-eating cold virus has gained me another one.

I haven't weighed myself yet, but you have to think that's a couple of pounds at least.

Hon, NO weight loss is EVER cheating. I take whatever I can get! Yay, you!

Want more of a work out? We could get one together, I miss you! I've got lots of ladder climbing, painting and cleaning to do this weekend.... :D

Yeah, take what you can get. I used a trip to the mountains for five days to give me a boost to my endurance once.

Yeah, weight loss due to sickness is just due compensation for the pain and agony and hassle of being sick - definitely NOT cheating! Yay, you!

I agree- not cheating, just good timing! :) And hey, if getting a "jump" on it motivates you to keep going and lose more than more the better for you!

Ugh. Yes. There is no more miserable way to lose weight than illness. Take that notch as meager, inadequate compensation for the misery.
